On February 14, a joint venture between Hoi Hup Realty and Sunway Development secured the executive condo (EC) site at Plantation Close with a top bid of $423.38 million, equating to $701 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr). The site spans 215,691 square feet and is under a 99-year lease, confirming a total of 504 units, ranges from 3 bedrooms to 4 plus study bedrooms type.

In September of the previous year, Hoi Hup and Sunway also acquired the adjacent 176,973 square foot Parcel A for $348.5 million, which translates to $703 psf ppr. Both sites are conveniently located near a variety of amenities, including shopping malls like JEM, Westgate, and IMM, as well as educational institutions such as Princess Elizabeth Primary School within 1km and ACS (Primary) and within 2km.

Wong Swee Chun, chairman of Hoi Hup Realty, shared that their goal is to build high-quality ECs, taking advantage of the upcoming Tengah development and nearby areas like Jurong Lake District and Singapore’s future Second CBD.
